Scope of certification:
The Sale, Supply and Distribution of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul products across the UK from the Scunthorpe and Doncaster warehouses.
The following Clauses from ISO 9001:2015 are excluded from this Scope, 7.1.5.2 measurement traceability and all of clauses 8.3 design and development as the company does not design any products themselves.

Signet Industrial Distribution Ltd will ensure that the system is adhered to and will constantly be monitored and audited for continual improvement to enhance the performance of the management system. We are committed to applying best practise throughout the organisation to maintain the highest of standards, whilst fulfilling or exceeding customer expectations. We will always achieve the highest level of environmental control by monitoring and reviewing the Quality & Environmental performance on a continual basis. Our policy is to purchase products from sustainable sources as far as is reasonably practicable.
We are totally committed to compliance with all requirements within BS EN ISO 9001:2015 & BS EN ISO 14001:2015, our policy is to offer products of the highest quality to our customers whilst minimising the environmental impacts by:
- Understanding the customers’ requirements and supplying products that meet their expectations.
- We will make the satisfaction of customer’s needs our primary goal by working with customers to establish and satisfy their requirements now and in the future. Effective communication arrangements have been established to assist with the feedback of information relating to the supply of product and the associate’s services. Information is analysed and used to continuously improve the company’s processes.
- Minimise the environmental impact, for the life cycle (including disposal) of all plant, equipment, and other physical assets under our control.
- Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.
- Minimise toxic emissions through the selection and use of its fleet and the source of its power requirement.
- Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst its customers and suppliers.
- Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to the Company.
- Use an accredited program to offset the greenhouse gas emissions and carbon footprint generated by our activities.
- To ensure, through effective use of vendor evaluation forms, that any potential suppliers are aware of their ethical and environmental policies.
- We have adopted a risk-based approach to the integrated management and achieve this by forward planning, monitoring risks, opportunities, and compliance obligations of the integrated management system. We actively monitor the needs and interests of relevant parties and issues that could affect the integrated management system and its business objectives.
- We will promote an environment that recognises the contribution of our staff to the success of the business and encourages their involvement and development. We will provide the appropriate training and educational opportunities and resources to support the achievement of business objectives.
- We set Quality and Environmental Objectives that are underpinned by the context of the organisation and challenge the company to improve while supporting our wider business strategy.
- It is the responsibility of the Managing Director to lead the BS EN ISO 9001:2015 & BS EN ISO 14001:2015 and to involve all staff through a programme of continuous improvement and effective teamwork. The senior management team have taken responsibility and ownership for integrated management system (IMS) and will ensure that the company adheres to this and its improvement moving forward.
